THE QUANTITY EXPORT OF STAR ANISE FROM JAN- JUNE 2023

As of June 30, 2023, Vietnam exported 7,443 tons of Star Anise, the total export turnover reached 45.7 million USD, compared to the same period in 2022, the export volume increased by 85.7% and the value increased by 68. 0%. The average export price of star anise in the first 6 months of the year reached USD 6,140/ton, down 9.6% over the same period last year. India continues to be the main market of Vietnam anise exports, accounting for 61.8% to 4,603 tons and increasing by 00.2% over the same period. Followed by markets: China accounted for 8.7%, the United States accounted for 6.5%, the UK accounted for 3.8% and the Netherlands accounted for 2.5%.
